A middle-aged man has today died on the spot after being hit by a vehicle Canta type in Tala market on Nairobi Kangundo road.

Confirming the incident, Matungulu OCS, Njiiri said that the man who is a bodaboda operator in Nguluni was coming from Tala heading to Nguluni when it collided head-on with the Canta that had lost control after missing to hit a personal car. 

Njiiri said that the driver of the vehicle has recorded a statement with the police on the matter. 

The vehicle was towed to Tala police station. 

Njiiri said that road users have been ignoring warnings on safe road use hence leading to many accidents that could be avoided. 

The body of the man was taken to Kangundo level four hospital mortuary as police launch investigations.
