The tournament that was launched by Mule at Tala township grounds is aimed at promoting sports within the area where winners will pocket Sh50,000 and receive trophies.Mule who was speaking during the launch of the tournament urged talented youths in the region to turn up and from their respective football clubs and battle for Honor's in the tournament.
"I am very pleased to unveil this football tournament. I together with other leaders within Matungulu will like to promote sports and more especially football within this region with an aim of nurturing talent," Mule said.Mule who met with a section of Katine young stars footballers promised to continue initiating sporting activities within the region with plans of introducing other games like basketball and hockey within the area.Mule reiterated that some playing grounds in Katine will be refurbished one within a period of four months.
