The residents of Tala constituency in Matungulu sub-county road users were given a chance to get re-fueled for free on Monday.
Tala motor-cycle operators, public vehicles and private vehicles were an excited group as Shell station launched a Branch in Tala town welcoming the residents in style.
Speaking yesterday in Tala town, Timothy Mutua a boda boda operator applauded the Shell gas station as he stated his excitement of receiving free fuel that would last even up to a week.
“I operate in Tala town and today Tala Shell petrol station has been opened and I have received free fuel worth Sh250. I am very happy because the fuel will last up to a week. I’m a businessperson so I will make profits,” said Mutua
The motorists were treated to free fuel worth Sh250 as public vehicles and private vehicles received a 1,000 shillings worth of fuel.
It was a reprieve to the residents getting free fuel and receiving a new gas station in the busy town that has only two other gas station within the town. The new entry in town is now the biggest among them.
