Police in Tala are searching for a bodaboda operator who hit a man in Tala market on Tuesday night and fled.

According to Tala police station OCS James Njiiri is that the accident happened at around 7:00 pm in the evening. 

The bodaboda operator who is said to have been speeding hit the man as he was crossing the road leaving him seriously injured. 

Njiiri urged bodaboda operators in Tala town to help in identifying the suspect. 

According to eyewitnesses, the man didn't stop instead accelerated heading to Kangundo. 

The injured man was rushed to Kangundo level four hospital.
