Kenya's president, honourable Uhuru Kenyatta on Friday commenced his awaited 3-day Ukambani tour with Tala town being among the lucky Ukambani areas the president visited on the first day of the tour.
Apart from the goodies that the president brought including the launch for tarmacking of Tala-Ol dunyu Sabuk-Kilimambogo road, Tala primary school, whose pupil's attended the president's public meeting were lucky enough to also benefit from the president's visit.
The president offered to buy them a bus as well as fund construction of three classrooms.
As if that not enough, the president gave Sh300,000 for general improvement and development of the learning environment for the pupils.
