Residents and traders in Tala market, Matungulu sub-county of Machakos county have urged the county government to complete stalled road projects in the market.
The traders led by the Market chairlady Ann Katile said that William Ngea and Limuru roads which enjoined the market road are yet to be completed four years later since the flagging off.
"Mr Governor you asked me to move the traders from the roads so that construction can begin, what happened yet you said the funds had been disbursed," said Katile.

In an exclusive interview with the sub-county administrator Mrs Mirriam Ndeti, she laid the blame on the engineers saying they come and go without doing anything.
"I have seen them come on sight, go round the roads and then leave without saying anything," said Ndeti.
The projects were launched in 2014 and were supposed to end in three months, the work began almost immediately with traders being moved to the center of the market and blocks being put on the road for the construction to begin.
However, the job stalled and now the roads are full of dirty water and traders are forced work in the unpleasant environment.
Mary Munuve a trader who spoke to Hivisasa on Tuesday said they have no choice but to sell their products in the dirty environment since the county government failed to fulfill its promises.
Irate traders had brought down the construction signboards two years ago protesting that the governor had taken them for fools.
