Most parents would rather encourage their children to concentrate on studies rather than talent but to young Sheila Moraa her talent paid off after well-wisher decided to sponsor her for three years in her primary education.
Sheila Moraa a class six pupil at Commenius learning centre in Kisii County is happy after her 3 years fees was cleared by Embakasi East constituency aspirant Francis Mureithi.
This comes after Francis Mureithi promised to pay her school fees when he visited the region during the homecoming of Groove award Winner Fenny Kerubo [Gospel Category] in the month of August this year as he was pleased with Sheila through her poem.
Confirming the payment the school Director Mr Casper Ngubo said that he has received the payments from Mureithi and now it is the mandate of the school to take its course of ensuring Moraa has achieved her dream.
Mr Casper also challenged the leaders and politicians to initiate such programs in which will help in identifying the talents and sponsor them.
“I would like to confirm that we have received the payments of three years towards Moraa's education. I would like to challenge our politicians and leaders to come on board so that we can identify talents and help more children in achieving them,” said Casper
Anne Kwamboka mother to Sheila also challenged other parents to give support to their children once they identified talents since they never know where blessings may come from.
“I thank God for answering my prayers, indeed I have been struggling to pay school fees, I also thank Mureithi for the support he has shown to my daughter, this are the kind of leaders we want," said Kwamboka.
