Gusii All Stars United (Gasu) has organised an event seeking to celebrate, nurture and promote talent and art in Gusii region.
Organizers under the Gasu announced that voting started on October 1 and it will come to an end towards the end of October, one of the organisers, Kevin Ombwori, said during an interview at Egesa Fm.
"We boost talented people from Gusii community in production, promoting and selling their music and videos. We also organise sports and events among the talents identified to motivate and nurture them," said Mr Ombwori.
Ombwori added that after identifying various talents since September 2014 through roadshows, they pushed the content to the media as this motivated them to organise awards to both established and rising talents.
Nomination took place the whole of September 2015 and the nominees include Mr Ong'eng'o and Dennis Okari, among others. Politicians have been nominated under Exemplary Leader category in both Nyamira and Kisii counties.
