The political standoff in the country can only be resolved if President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition leader Raila Odinga agree to engage in dialogue an MP has said.
Kangundo MP Fabian Muli speaking on Thursday at Katwii village said persistent political bickering between Jubilee and National Super Alliance, NASA may plunge the country into chaos.
"Uhuru and Raila should talk to end the prolonged wrangles since the country is bigger than them. I call upon NASA and Jubilee MPs to drop their hard stance to allow the two leaders engage in talks for the country to move forward," he said.
Muli urged Kenyans to ignore politicians who will be out to incite them to cause violence.
"The country has made far steps from the 2007/2008 post election violence. I call on Kenyans not to accept and go back to violence," he noted.
