Former Lands Cabinet Secretary Charity Ngilu has come out to deny that she has held talks with opposition chief Raila Odinga for a possible alliance ahead of 2017 polls.
The NARC leader said she will not form any sort of alliance with the former Prime Minister terming the reports false.
"Talk of an alliance with Raila is simply false. I have not talked to him and I will not be joining hands with him," she told journalists in Nairobi on Monday.
"I have been there before and was betrayed. I am not going back," she added.
Reports emerged on Monday that Odinga was luring a number of top politicians with an aim of forming a super alliance that will look to neutralise Jubilee Party.
Ngilu has already expressed interests in the Kitui gubernatorial seat and is believed to be a force to recon in the 2017 general elections.
