Four more roads in Busia Town and two in Malaba are set for tarmacking with the laying of the final sub surface starting in earnest ahead of the laying of the Bitumen.
The roads which are set for tarmacking in Busia includes Tawakal Hotel - Huduma Centre, Soko Posta Junction- Referral Hospital- Polytechnic, Agolot- Ojamii and Comfort Hotel- Ojamii. Those in Malaba include Garden Park- Email Hotel and Serengeti Hotel- Main Highway.
Busia County Executive Committee Member for Public Works and Roads Bernard Yaite said the roads are expected to be completed in the next two to three months.
The roads in Busia town which have already been tarmacked by the County government includes Governor's Office- Huduma Centre- Soka Posta, St Mathias Secondary- Busia Garage, Tesia Super Market- Busia County Referral Hospital- Farmview Hotel.
Those in Malaba which have been completed include Junction- Ateker House- Malaba Secondary, Dispensary- Joy Land Hotel.
Yaite said on Monday that final evaluation on the completed roads was done last week by the resident engineer.
