Bomet Governor Isaac Rutto said President Kenyatta should ask Ruto to stop demeaning other leaders who have differed with him.

“The President is quiet. He feels good, as his deputy is moving across the country, abusing, cajoling and buying support for him,” the governor told the star.

“I don't know whether he's aware of this. If he is not, too bad. If he is aware, he owes us an explanation,” he added.

The Deputy President has been accused before of looking down upon other leaders. His critics said he has been using abusive language toward the Bomet governor and Baringo senator Gideon Moi.

Ruto allegedly talked of Moi’s kumangamanga with the Luhyas (Moi supporting Musalia Mudavadi).

The utterances have not been taken easily.

The Opposition have also lamented that Ruto uses demeaning language while reffering to them.
