Nominated Senator Paul Njoroge believes that Deputy President William Ruto could severely injure his 2022 presidential ambitions should he refuse to tame his ‘angry political tone’.
Ruto is keen to win 2022 presidential elections and has been traversing the country to popularize his candidature.
Njoroge, a chief critic of Ruto, says the DP should change his way of handling other politicians whether from government or opposition.
“The DP should desist from engaging with other politicians with an angry political tone. He is bitter for nothing because no one wants to take our country back,” he said during an interview with KTN on Monday.
“He is likely to lose in 2022 should he continue with this pace. Many politicians whether from opposition or government, are very critical of him. Time has come for him to change,” said the tough talking senator.
Njoroge was nominated to parliament by the defunct TNA party and has since decamped to KANU to Jubilee Party, amid revolt in Jubilee over the recent elections of interim officials.
