[Photo| Nation]Tanzania has refuted claims that it arrested three Kenyans believed to be National Intelligence Service (NIS) officers.The officers were alleged to have gone to Zanzibar to monitor all moves made by opposition leader Raila Odinga. Odinga went to Tanzania on Sunday November 19 and jetted back on Wednesday night.According to Tanzania Inspector-General of Police Simon Sirro, his office had no information on the arrest of any NIS officials from Nairobi.“I’m not aware of that and what is being speculated about is not true,” Sirro is quoted by Nation.Earlier, the government of Zanzibar had said it had no information about the former prime minister's arrival and holiday.“We haven’t received any information about his presence. However, we are following up the rumours of his presence,” Mjini Magharibi Regional Police Commander Hassan Nasir Ali said, Wednesday.
