The Tanzanian government has responded to claims that the National Super Alliance has set up a tallying center in the country.
Spokesman Hassan Abbas on Monday dismissed the claims stating that it is wrong to link their country to Kenya's elections.
"The attempt to link the peace-loving government of Tanzania with involvement in neighbours' elections is a mistake beyond reality."
This came amid reports that Raila Odinga's coalition has established a tallying center in Kigamboni area, Tanzania.
It has been said that because of this, powerful people in the government had been pushing the Tanzanian government to publicly declare their stand on the matter.
