Taxi men in Kisii town have asked the Kisii county government to build them an office and a lavatory, in a bid to back their large number.
Speaking to Hivisasa on Monday, the taxi men chairman Isaac Nyasani said they are at ease with Ongwae's government although he should consider their plea to accommodate their growing number.
"Our Governor has improved because he erected the streetlights that help us a lot at night. The roads are passable and we have no problem with His Excellency Governor James Ongwae.
" Our only disturbing problem is that we are a large number thus we ask for a washroom and an office that will serve capital taxi men.Our governor promised us of one after his government is done building the new fish house and we are still waiting. We have no problem with him," he said.
Nyasani has also urged the County government to allocate bodaboda operators a new stage far from their capital base, to avoid possible fracas on the wee hours between the two.
"We have no feud with bodaboda men but we want them to be assigned a new stage. We should be here at Capital and them at Oyondi petrol station to give room for business so that we don't clash," added Nyasani.
