According to the Standard, the teacher was caught trying to open a chemistry paper on Monday.
Confirming the incident, Kenya National Examination Council (Knec) Chief Executive Mercy Karogo said the teacher has since been replaced by his deputy as investigations begin.
Karogo however said that no exam was leaked.
Apart from the stern legal measures instigated by Knec, the Teacher’s Service Commission (TSC) has ordered that investigations begin immediately into the matter and authorised a disciplinary process of the teacher.
