Florence Kathure 28, was called during the draw that saw numerous people walk away with electronic gifts and shopping vouchers after participating in the competition which started earlier in November last year.

Kathure, who was  away in her job was rang from the society stores grounds by the managing Director Ishmael Bundali and informed of the grand finale of the competition before being notified of her victory which left her screaming on the phone call as their audience who had camped outside the society stores cheered her victory.

According to Bundali, the competition attracted many participants and the aim of the campaign was to bring back their clients who had walked away when the management was taken over by the formerly dubbed Leens supermarket and attract new ones, a move he confirmed that they have achieved.

He lauded the Society’s CEO Trusha Khetia and his wife Shreya Khetia whom he says have been so supportive during the whole process which he coordinated.

He added that the store has made much profit from the competition and they are not stopping at that as they want to share their profits with the clients in different promotions they are planning to commence.

The vehicle winner is expected to be handed the keys today (Sunday) by the stores’ CEO together with other staff members.
