Gucha Sub county police boss Francis Mbugua has said that teachers who are caught defiling students will face prosecution.

He said that anyone found engaging in illicit affairs with any school going student will be taken to court. 

"All the teachers who will be found misbehaving will be arraigned in court. It is wrong that we still have such incidents taking place," said Mbugua. 

He raised the concerns just days after two teachers were caught molesting students. 

He asked teachers to ensure that they investigate teachers before they go to the schools. 

He asked the Teachers Service Commission to ensure that it does proper scrutiny on teachers before they employ them.
