The National Anti Corruption Campaign Steering Committee has vowed not to stop the war on corruption in the five counties in the North Rift region.
Adan Wachu, the committee chairman said they are committed to working with the devolved units to end graft which has derailed development in the region.
"The devolved units are struggling to end graft. We have partnered to intensify fight against corruption to ensure no single cent is wasted,” he said in Eldoret town on Sunday.
Wachu stated that ethical challenges are among the barrier which has made it difficult for Uasin Gishu, Baringo, Trans Nzoia, West Pokot and Nandi Counties to end graft.
He called on stakeholders to help the county bosses to end corruption.
“Embezzlement of funds must be fought by all stakeholders. In leadership, we need accountability and high levels of integrity in the management of public funds meant for development,” he added.
