Opposition NASA will conduct a One-Million-Man rally in Nairobi this Sunday ahead of submission of papers by their presidential candidate Raila Odinga and running mate Kalonzo Musyoka.
According to IEBC presidential aspirants must submit their papers to the commission between Sunday and Monday for final clearance.
Steering NASA's ‘Team Nairobi’ is Governor Evans Kidero and ODM Nairobi branch chairman George Aladwa.
The two have have planned a number of roadshows in the county which will culminate in a mega rally to be held at Jacaranda Grounds,Embakasi to kick off campaigns.
The Jacaranda rally will see the team conduct a mock swearing in of Raila and Kalonzo as the opposition's chosen President and Deputy President.
“We will convene at the KICC-City Hall Way from 10am for a celebratory procession,” Kidero said at City Hall on Friday.
“We are expecting one million Kenyans from across the country on Sunday. I would like to assure everybody that we have made adequate logistical and security arrangements,” Kidero added.
