Former civic leader from Kebirigo David Makario has urged the Jomo Kenyatta Foundation chairman Walter Nyambati to form a formidable alliance with Charles Onsongo Mochama if Jubilee is to clinch the Nyamira County gubernatorial seat.
According to Makario, the alliance is the best option that would see the incumbent, Governor John Nyagarama lose his seat.
Makario said if the two politicians run for the top seat, chances of Jubilee losing were higher than if they join hands to ensure they win the coveted post in the county.
“Unity is power and that needs to apply to both Nyambati and Mochama who are eyeing the seat and they need to agree on who can deputise who before it’s too late,” he added.
This comes barely a day after Nyambati, a former Kitutu Masaba MP declared that he won’t let the Jubilee ticket to any other person other than him while Mochama is also the “right hand man” for Deputy President William Ruto in the region.
Both Nyambati and Mochama have good support on the ground.
