Transcentury Group in partnership with Kenya’s National and County governments have recently launched a technical skill program that is aimed at expanding Kenya’s technical skill base In Kiambu .

Transcentury Group which is a leading infrastructure investment company have lauched a program that will see over Sh 20 million go into the institution within its first year. 

Speaking at the Kiambu Institute of Science and Technology the group CEO Dr Gachao Kiuna said that the program will be spearheaded in Kenya as expansion plans to other African countries where the company operates are in the works.

The launch of the programme has been inspired by a survey done by Technoserve, which is a Non-Governmental Organization that focuses on youth and the eradication of poverty to identify industrial skills gaps and create a better understanding of Technical institutions and Vocational Training institutes
