Giant mobile manufacturer Tecno on Thursday donated food to residents of Daaba in Isiolo County.

The company donated foodstuffs and other products worth Sh2 million in  a bid to reduce the effects of the raging drought.

In partnership  with Action Aid, the manufacturer donated food to 420 households, and water tanks and sanitary kits that included sanitary pads, soap, and lotion to women.

Tecno Kenya’s Marketing Manager Ray Hou, stated that the company plans  to give another Ksh2 million to homes in Samburu County and donate to the school feeding program in Kajiado County starting from next month.
