A 17-year-old teenage boy was on Tuesday arraigned in Kithimani law courts for breaking into a school and stealing.
The accused Collins Mutuku Mbithi who appeared before Senior Resident Magistrate Martha A Opanga pleaded guilty to the charges levelled against him.
According to the prosecution, the accused broke into the office of the principal of Iviani secondary school in Kithimani,Yatta sub-county Machakos county on the night of June 26, this year.
The accused is said to have stolen three school shirts from the office worth Sh1350 and the later stole two blank cheques from the principles cheque book.
The accused also faced an alternative charge of issuing a Sh10,000 cheque to one Joseph Mwania and a Sh5,000 cheque to David Kitunga using the blank cheques he had taken from the principles office.
The case is set for sentencing on July 1, this year.
