Africa hockey champions Telkom Kenya need only a point from their next match against Ghana Police in order to book a final slot at the ongoing African hockey club championship in Accra Ghana.
The Kenyan side beat last year’s finalists Ghana Revenue Authority 1-0 on Wednesday, in a tense fourth-round match to stand a chance to play in the final.
The win saw the Kenyan side take charge of standings with 12 points ahead of their bitter rivals GRA, with a single match to go.
Teresita Juma scored the lone goal of the match in the fourth quarter and was the better side had missed a host of chances.
