Telkom Kenya customers will experience service interruptions as the company begins its “network modernisation and expansion project”.
In a press statement, the company said the project will commence on December 27, 2016.
“As part of its long term transformation agenda, Telkom Kenya will embark on a network modernization and expansion project starting December 27, 2016,” reads the statement.
“The first phase of this project, will affect provision of service to our mobile Voice and Data customers, in the larger Ongata Rongai and Karen areas.”
Telkom said the first phase of the countrywide network upgrade should be complete by the end of this month.
“Service interruption will be experienced in the morning hours during this period. Our customers should be able to enjoy an improved experience on mobile Voice and Data service at the end of this exercise.”
The company apologised to its customers for any inconvenience caused during the exercise.
