Barrack Muluka said Saturday that it was in order if Mr Orengo sat Raila down and advised him to accept the outcome of the August 8 polls which saw him lose to President Uhuru Kenyatta.
"It is time Mr Orengo talked to Raila to accept the reality instead of continously urging him to fight on.It is of no help, if anything it could only muddy Raila's statesmanship image," he told KTN News.
Orengo who is widely seen as Mr Odinga's right hand man has been speaking on behalf of the Opposition coalition Nasa which has since rejected the poll outcome.
The former Prime Minister on his part has equally maintained that he will not accept 'rigged polls' and is expected to announce his next cause of action on Tuesday after ruling out challenging the outcome in the courts.
In his visit to Kibera and Mathare slums on Sunday, Odinga urged his supporters to boycott work Monday as they wait for the big announcement on Tuesday.
The loss was Odinga's fourth in his quest to head the country even as he insisted that he has only rightfully lost once in 1997.
