Bobasi Member of Parliament Steve Manoti has been urged to tell the President Uhuru Kenyatta to construct all impassable national roads in Bobasi constituency to get votes for both of them in 2017.

According to area residents, most of the area roads are impassable and accused area MP for sleeping on his job instead of advancing development as he pledged.

Addressing the media On Thursday in the constituency area residents led by Henley Machuka and Stephine Chore urged Manoti to ask Uhuru Kenyatta to construct roads to ease transportation.

“We ask our MP to make sure all national roads that are impassable in the area are constructed to easy transportation,” said Machuka.

The residents lamented over the construction of Nyacheki-Mochengo –Igare road by saying it has taken a long time without completion.

They also asked Kisii county government to also construct feeder roads in the constituency including more so in Nyacheki ward.
