Kisumu Senator Prof Anyang Nyong'o has faulted former ODM Secretary General Ababu Namwamba for leaving the party's leadership.
Nyong'o claimed Namwamba, first, should not have declared he had left the party since it is not clear to date if indeed he was ODM SG.
"Ever since, we have had an open door policy for consultation whenever necessary," he said at a press conference in Kisumu.
He said Namwamba could have only resigned from the position if he was the party's SG.
"At no time has my friend drawn my attention to any of his handicaps that he is currently shouting out," Nyong'o added.
Namwamba resigned as ODM SG on Wednesday at a rally in his constituency, Budalang'i.
He cited frustration as one of the reasons he chose to quit the orange party.
He also faulted the lawmaker from Busia County over his claims that some top ODM members frustrated him.
