Chepkit Stone and Waterfall is located in Kapchan village, 15km from the Eldoret town of Uasin Gishu county. The unsung waterfall is called 'Chepkit' meaning seeing from far as the Kalenjin elders would put it. The waterfall has interesting history in that the elders claim that it has footsteps of Jesus Christ evident in the large rock in the waterfall. Moreover initiates come to bathe here after their seclusion period is over, marking the end of their cultural teachings in the bush. Furthermore the waterfall cuts through a big rock stone surrounded with indigenous trees - some fruit bearing - not forgetting the nests in the trees housing the beautiful birds.

You don't need to escape from the rain or any other reason to visit Chepkit stone and waterfall. Its majestic beauty and relaxing, peaceful atmosphere is more than enough invitation for anyone to come bask in its naturally magical experience.
