Another resident, Samwel Gakera asked for police officers to be deployed at the centre to enhance security.
Another resident, Jared Nyakundi said there is insecurity at the trading centre because the thugs also broke into a clothes shop and stole clothes.
"Police are not available during night patrols hence we are living in fears and we appeal to security agencies to enhance security or else we will take the law into our hands," he said.
