Tension is high at Teret village after two groups clashed over a suspected witchdoctor.
This is after the man who is allegedly a witchdoctor was chased by villagers who claimed he was responsible for mysterious and evil happenings in the village.
On Sunday night, a group supporting the witchdoctor torched two houses in the village.
On Monday, the locals said they are in fear and asked police officers to beef up security in the area.
David Kariuki, a Nyumba Kumi official, said they have notified police about the clashes.
“Police officers are aware of the clashes and we are expecting security to be beefed up to ensure no more attacks between the two groups,” he said.
