[Photo| Courtesy]Uncertainty has hit President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee Party in the Coastal county of Mombasa, few days after former Senator Hassan Omar Sarai, defected from NASA.Reports indicate that all is not well, as local Jubilee Party leaders, like former Kisauni MP Anania Mwaboza, accuse Omar of being a political hypocrite.Mwaboza who deputised Suleiman Shahbal, in the Mombasa August elections gubernatorial bid, said Omar ran to Jubilee simply because he was neglected by NASA, after realizing he could not win the gubernatorial seat.

A local online daily reported that Mwaboza was angered, especially when Omar said he would vie on a Jubilee party ticket, if his petition against Governor Ali Hassan Joho, goes through.According to Sarai, a former Wiper Democratic Movement Secretary General, he would agree with Shahbal, on who between them, would take down Joho, in Jubilee.“If Shahbal stands a better chance, I will back down. If I do, he will support me,” Omar told the Jubilee leaders, during his welcoming at Serani Grounds, Sunday, a statement which disturbed Mwaboza.Though Shahbal is yet to publicly comment on the statement by Omar, Mwaboza has further accused the duo, of having own plans that have sidelined him, in case the petition succeeds.
