Witnesses said two people have been injured in the skirmishes over who is supposed to till the land.

Area police boss said security details has move in and contained the situation.

“There was tension but we have managed to contain the situation with more officers sent to the area,” he said.

It is just weeks after a herder was shot in the area after a conflict over private piece of land.
