Barely two months after signing a pre-election pact with President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee, Baringo senator now threatens to pull independence party KANU out of the deal.

Moi, who had been leading rebellion against Jubilee, agreed to work with Kenyatta following talks that involved retired president Daniel Moi and Kenyatta’s mother, Mama Ng’ina Kenyatta.

And in a stormy warning to Jubilee, Moi revealed souring relationship between him and DP William Ruto adding that KANU was no longer confortable working with Jubilee.

“I have secured an appointment with the president and we must discuss to come up with an amicable solution,” said Moi in a rally on Friday at Emurua Dikir.

He further said: “Someone is busy abusing and intimidating us as if he has monopoly over Kalenjins. We cannot allow such kind of dictatorship.”

Despite working with Jubilee, Moi had vowed to directly deal with Kenyatta due to his sour relationship with Mr Ruto.

And in his plan for 2022 elections, Ruto has initiated a political revolution in Rift Valley by targeting his perceived opponents in the region.
