Tension is reportedly still high in Nairobi's Kawangware estate even after the visit by politicians to quell the animosity between warring political sides.
According to the Star, groups allied to the opposition NASA have vowed to keep "fighting Jubilee", and any slight provocation could ignite fresh clashes between those supporting NASA and Jubilee.
Unarmed youths took sentry positions in the 56 area as others lined along the streets to observe the situation as police kept a tight patrol in the area.
The youths at 56 said they were waiting to chase away Jubilee leaders after word went round that Nairobi governor Mike Sonko and a host of other leaders were set to visit those affected by the violence.
"We are waiting for Sonko here. We want to teach him that we don't want anything to do with Jubilee," a NASA supporter said.
There was little business at the Kawangware market as most shops remained closed.
Most shops and financial institutions were also closed and matatus parked at strategic places that were considered safe.
At Congo area, where business premises were razed down on Friday, shouting youths were on rampage after the departure of NASA leader Raila Odinga and called out for members of the Mungiki sect for a clash.
