Uasin Gishu County Assembly Speaker Isaac Terer has announced that he will be vying for Kesses parliamentary seat come 2017 general election.
Terer said that after successfully working as the county assembly speaker for three years, it's now time to serve the people of Kesses.
"Following pressure from my supporters in the grassroots, I have decided to vie for Kesses parliamentary seat and I am confident I will win," he said.
Speaking in his office on Wednesday, Terer said, "It's time Kesses residents got a leader who is development oriented and ready to work for them."
He urged the residents to vote him in come 2017 for the betterment of their lives.
Mediheal Group of Hospitals CEO Swarup Mishra and David Koros have also declared interest in the post.
