This will be during the General Assembly to be held on September 29, 2017.Tergat and Muyah were the only ones who had presented their nominations to the Centre for Multiparty Democracy-Kenya by Friday's 9am deadline. The others are Ben Ekumbo, who will be defending his seat as first deputy president and KSF secretary Winnie Kamau, who will vie as a committee member.Ekumbo resigned as KSF chairman in January which saw his federation that was bedevilled by wrangles, form a Transitional Committee headed by Conrad Thorpe.CMD-K Secretary Irene Tindi clarified that Muyah's candidature is subject to approval by the General Assembly.
