Police officers in Mombasa are holding in custody a terror suspect.

This is after officers raided his home located in Kibundani area of Likoni in Mombasa County on Friday.

Regional CID boss, Pius Macharia, who has confirmed the arrest, says the suspect was found in possession of two hand grenades, an AK 47 rifle, 10 round of ammunition, radicalisation CDs, and a jungle jacket among other items.S

Speaking at Mombasa police headquarters, Macharia says Juma Athman aged 24 will be formally arraigned after police conclude investigations.
