Ngewa MCA Karungo Thangawa has accused the county government of ignoring health workers concerns.
Briefing journalists on Monday, the MCA accused the county of taking health matters lightly stating that the county must respect health workers and address their grievances.
Thang’wa observed that health issues are sensitive and that the county government must not joke with them. He said that he will not keep quite noting that he will continue to speak for the voiceless.
The ward representative accused Kabogo of trying to intimidate leaders whom he considers as ‘juniors’.
He said that leadership is not judged on one’s experience but on what he or she is doing for the people who elected them.
The MCA asked residents in the ward to maintain unity and peace and desist from acts that will cause disharmony.
Elsewhere, Thang’wa called on the church to pray for the country.
Speaking at Kimunyu Gospel Power Centre in Gatundu South during a fund raiser on Monday, the MCA said that the country needs God’s guidance.
He cited several challenges that have been facing the country including terrorism and rise in crime saying that the country needs continued prayers.
Thang’wa said that development would be realized only if leaders and Kenyans in general are united.
The MCA urged political leaders to put aside their differences and devote to preaching unity.
He stated that time has come for leaders to speak for their actions adding that Kenyans are tired of empty promises. He called on residents to support him as he focuses on developing the ward.
