Garissa Township MP elect Aden Duale has thanked Kenyans for ensuring that Jubilee retains its majority in both the Senate and the National Assembly.
In an interview with NTV on Sunday, the former leader of majority in the 11th parliament said Kenyans had been impressed with how the Jubilee side conducted its affairs in the house that they decided to double their numbers.
"I believe that I will have even more easier job this time round as Kenyans have decided to double our majority in parliament. They believe we did well in the previous session," he said.
Duale who is keen on retaining his parliamentary duty when the 12th Parliament opens also said that top on thier agenda will be on how to remove the Auditor General Edward Ouko and his Nationa Lands Commission counterpart Mohammed Swazuri both of who survived a late onslaught against the ruling party's attempts to eject them out of the office.
The 11th parliament saw the Jubilee party bully its opposition counterparts with its popularly known "tyranny of numbers" to pass contentious bills and Duale believes the script may be the same this time round after the ruling party garnered 165 of the 290 parliamentary seats on offer and 25 out of 47 senate seats during the August 8 polls.
