The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong. Forgiveness is freeing up and putting to better use the energy once consumed by holding grudges, harboring resentments, and nursing unhealed wounds.

It is rediscovering the strengths we always had and relocating our limitless capacity to understand and accept other people and ourselves. If we all live by 'an eye for an eye' the whole world will be blind.

The only way out is forgiveness. Remember it takes one person to forgive, but it takes two people to be reunited.

If we stopped hating ourselves so much, we would demand for the best service in our health system, better education in our public schools, better performance of pour leaders, better security for Kenyans.

If we loved ourselves we would not allow ourselves to be killed by our neighbors even if the security apparatus knew the attack was to happen, we would not sleep hungry, we would not be jobless, we would not accept shoddy performance from our employees, we would not allow mother and children to die because the health facilities are not equipped or staffed, we would not watch as our constitution is raped with impunity, while its implementation is stalled because of our political leaders self-interest and lack of will.

A forgiving heart is a healthy heart. Let’s forgive one another and as the scripture puts it our father in heaven will indeed forgive us.
