Voting is a national duty that should be exercised by all Kenyans who are eligible to vote and the Matatu Owners Association is going to make sure that the elderly and physically challenged will participate in the August 8 polls.
They will be picked from their homes to the polling stations and dropped back after completion of the exercise.
This comes as a way of encouraging peace during the campaign period and during the elections period as they would not want a repeat of what happened during the 2007-2008 election period that left the sector with huge losses.
The association has also stepped up to up stickers that preach peace on a number of matatus.
