Two children made headlines after they risked their lives by traveling under a bus from Bungoma to Nairobi.

The two used a Greenline bus and managed to escape the attention of staff.

The minors are said to have secured a safe' spot on the chassis of the where they lay throughout the 10-hour journey. 

The boys were discovered after they 'alighted' from the chassis when the bus arrived in Nairobi on a Tuesday morning in 2016.

They appeared to be in good health despite the cold weather experienced across the country.

Greenline Company management said that the two were allegedly talked into the mission by their cousin who was once a street urchin in Nairobi.

Luckily for the two, they were later reunited with their families back in Bungoma.
