An MP allied to the Jubilee party has dismissed reports that the country is divided following the repeat presidential election held on October 26.
Naivasha MP Jayne Kihara said it is 'one person trying to get a place in government."
In a thinly veiled attack on Nasa leader Raila Odinga, Kihara said those who run in politics must be ready to accept defeat.
"Why did Nasa abandon the very election that the Supreme Court ordered after they had complained about an earlier one. They got it all wrong to walk out on it," she said.
Nasa has since dismissed the election that saw president Uhuru Kenyatta reelected with an overwhelming majority.
Kihara was speaking during a show at NTV.
