Zari Hassan, the ex-wife to the Tanzanian hitmaker Diamond Platinumz came to Kenya for the much awaited Colour Purple concert which took place on the Saturday of May 12, at the City’s Uhuru Gardens.
Her coming wasn’t for free, as she earned a huge amount after her stay in the country. Zari who attended various functions in the city, was accompanied by various Kenyan celebrities.
Her major purpose for coming to the country was to attend to the Colour Purple concert, which had a free cancer screening for ladies. The concert attracted thousands of Kenyans, including our very own local female celebrities, some who never gave Zari space.
Zari walked away with Ugsh. 37.3 million, which when converted to Kenyan money, it translates to a million Kenyan shillings. Her accommodations and transport cost while in the country amounted to Ksh. 500, 000. In total, Zari Hassan, walked away with Ksh. 1.5 million during her stay in the country.
