This is the day residents in the town, the capital of Uasin Gishu County were treated to a rare spectacle as followers of Prophet Owuor literally washed the streets of Eldoret.

This was apparently in preparations for the coming of the ‘Mighty Prophet’ David Owuor.

Hundreds of Owuor’s followers who were trickling into the town all joined hands in washing the towns' streets.

The act was criticized by many but to the followers, it was a sign of respect to the Holiness and Repentance Ministry leader.

It was the first time Prophet Owuor was setting his foot in Eldoret town and the followers had to do something to bring the town to a standstill.

Later in the day, locals were treated to yet another spectacle as the followers’ lined up in the streets to welcome the prophet who drove into the town in a police escort that could only be compared to that accorded to the Head of State.

Prophet Owuor later had a three-day crusade at the fully packed Eldoret Sports club.
