In history, Kitutu Masaba constituency remains one of the most competitive when in comes to national elections.
Actually, in 2007, the constituency went into historical books by registering a whopping 33 candidates during the elections.
But during that year, when ODM party was at her infantry stages, the party's rowdy behavior may have been been also registered first in the constituency.
Politician Nyambega Mose, who finished second in the poll behind Walter Nyambati, claimed that the current ODM Treasurer, Timothy Bosire slapped him during party primaries.
"I have been an ODM member and I can confirm that even Bosire slapped me when I beat him in the primaries before vanishing with my ticket," he recalled in a phone interview.
The two leaders, who have since reconciled, reportedly confronted each other at Nyambaria Tallying Center, where final ODM results were being announced.
But throughout his interactions, Bosire, who would later win the seat in 2013 polls, has denied confronting the 2017 senatorial loser.
"I don't remember such a thing happening despite our bitter rivalry by them. I don't understand, maybe he knows better," he said.
Despite the constituency being a traditional ODM stronghold, the party lost it to Jubilee in 2017 elections.
