Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga is a man of the people and a darling of many Kenyans.
Raila who has unsuccessfully contested for presidency five times remains optimistic of winning the election one day.
The ODM leader has remained politically active and is now the talk of town in regards to the ‘Building bridges initiatives he is spearheading together with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
However, Raila has experienced many things some good and others bad in his campaigns and push to be president.

It was on this day that Raila’s dais during a rally in Malindi crumbled down.
In a video that went viral, the former prime minister alongside other opposition leaders was on the dais addressing supporters at Karisa Miatha stadium before it crumbled down.
According to the people who were at the event, Raila was narrating Jesus Christ visit to the mountains where he was tempted by Satan before the dais crumbled.
Security aides rushed to rescue the former prime minister but luckily no one was injured in the incident.
The incident saw social media users speculate with some claiming that it was a bad omen for the former prime minister in regards to the 2017 general election.
